Hydrogen Optimized’s innovation and manufacturing progress has received centre-stage recognition in the Ontario Legislature.

During Question Period on June 7, 2023, the Hon. Victor Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, cited how his government provided funding toward a $4.6 million investment by Hydrogen Optimized in RuggedCell™ electrolyzer manufacturing in Owen Sound.

Minister Fedeli referenced the “cutting edge work” by Hydrogen Optimized in green hydrogen production. He also noted how green hydrogen is used to “replace fossil fuels in energy intensive processes like cement and fertilizer production”.

Andrew T.B. Stuart, President and CEO of Hydrogen Optimized, remarked, “Our company appreciates Minister Fedeli’s public recognition of our progress, and we are grateful for the government’s support as we enter commercial operations.”
